Careers or Branches in the Army are diverse. As a Cadet, you will have the opportunity to be placed into a Branch based on your interest and performance in the Program. Operations
Includes soldiers that are directly involved in combat or combat-like missions. Includes planning, preparing, executing, and assessing missions. The branches include:
Specializes in anti-aircraft weaponry. Protects US forces from aerial attacks and surveillance. Provides threat detection and early warnings from airspace.
Leads tank, other track vehicle crews, and scout formations in reconnaissance and security operations.
Coordinates aviation operations such as maintenance, control tower operations, and tactical flight operations. Aviators provide quick strike and long range target engagement and transport of troops and supplies.
Uses latest defense technology to protect soldiers from chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear weapons.
Design, build, and maintain roads, bases, airfield, and other facilities. They oversee large scale civil works projects, manage natural resources, and provide combat support. They enable mobility to friendly forces while denying it to the enemy.
Provide fire support by using cannons, rocket, and missile first in the operational environment.
Main land combat force. Responsible for coordinating the employment of soldiers at all levels throughout the Army.
They serve as the Army's law enforcement and security officers, and handle crimes committed on Army installations. During combat operations they are used to provide security and internment and resettlement operations.
