The ROTC program will prepare you to succeed in both the military and any career field. You will receive training and gain practical experience in leadership, critical thinking, problem solving and many other areas.
The ROTC is an elective program you will take alongside your core curriculum. You will take part in physical fitness training, classroom instruction, and training labs throughout the semester. Upon graduation and successful completion of the Army ROTC Program you will commission as an officer in the Army in either Active Duty, Army Reserves, or Army National Guard. You can take part in the ROTC Program as a freshman and sophomore student without any obligation to the military.
Benefits of joining the ROTC Program
If eligible, the ROTC scholarship can pay up to 100% of your tuition or your room and board. You can receive a stipend each semester to help pay for books. You can receive a monthly stipend to help pay for other living expenses. You can pursue any major program while in college. The Army has over 20 career paths to choose from.
