The Pitt Impact Ambassadors (PIA) are a group of student leaders that provide training, mentorship and education opportunities for Pitt students that are interested in getting involved in community engagement work. PIA’s goal is to promote civic mindedness in students while also ensuring the cultivation of mutually beneficial community partnerships.
PIA, formerly known as the Student Civic Engagement Council (SCEC), reflects the University of Pittsburgh’s commitment to community engagement and student development. Ambassadors aim to empower students to become engaged community members who contribute to a culture of civic engagement at the University.
