Taro Sekikawa is a doctoral intern earning his PsyD in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University. He is a life long Pittsburgher and Pitt alum where he earned his BS in psychology and Master's of Social Work. Taro's professional areas of interest include group therapy, mulitcultural counseling, trauma, training and profesional experiences of BIPOC-identifying clinicians, and increasing social justice in psycholgy. Taro utilizes a range of therapeutic approaches that integrates person-centered approaches with CBT, DBT, and ACT based techniques. In his free time, Taro enjoys biking, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
