Since April 2022, Summer Rothrock has served as the Associate Director of Parent and Family Resources. In her role as Associate Director, Summer manages engagement and communication efforts to provide connections for Pitt families of undergraduate students. She is dedicated to providing resources for families to best support their student to success. Prior to her role in Parent and Family Resources, Summer served as the Director for the Office of Cross Cultural and Leadership Development.
Summer has worked in the Division of Student Affairs since 2007 and has served in roles in Fraternity and Sorority Life, and Leadership Development Programs. Summer has engaged in the Division by serving on multiple committees including Panther Leadership Summit, Emergency Funding, Life Skills Working Group, Social Justice Symposium Planning Committee, and the Division Programming Committee.
Summer holds a BA in English and Journalism from California University of Pennsylvania and a MEd in Higher Education Management from the University of Pittsburgh. She is also a proud member of Sigma Kappa Sorority.
