Why did you apply to be a Pitt ACC Leadership Symposium delegate?

I applied to be a Pitt ACC Leadership Symposium Delegate because I love leadership, and I firmly believe that when leaders get better, everyone wins — a concept beautifully captured by Craig Groeschel. This symposium offers a unique chance to connect with and learn from student leaders across the ACC, enhancing my skills and perspectives. Additionally, I recognize that networking is an invaluable skill for leaders, and I hope to use this experience to build relationships and insights that will benefit my broader ambitions and deepen my impact within the Pitt community and beyond.

What do you love most about being a leader at Pitt?

What I love most about being a leader at Pitt is the supportive culture that encourages growth and learning, even when we stumble. Pitt fosters an environment where students are given grace as they take risks and push their limits, which makes it easier to step out of our comfort zones and truly develop. I also appreciate that free speech is valued here, allowing us to have open conversations and connect across different perspectives. This unique combination of support, freedom, and mutual respect makes Pitt an inspiring place to lead and learn.
