Khai is a licensed social worker and holds her Master's in Social Work with a mental health concentration from the University of Pittsburgh. Her Bachelor's in Social Work was received from New York University. She is now pursuing her clinical license in the state of Pennsylvania  as a social worker within the Post Master's Fellowship. Khai's areas of interest include life transitions, multicultural concerns/marginalized groups, trauma, spirituality, anxiety, attention difficulties, and interpersonal/relationship concerns. Although Khai has come to work across various communities and remains to open all from a person-centered perspective, she has a particular focus on BIPOC communities. She often utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness practices, and a general strength-based perspective. Outside of the counseling center, Khai enjoys reading, engaging in yoga, and relishing in the sun as a West Coast native.
