Why did you apply to be a Pitt ACC Leadership Symposium delegate?

I applied to be a Pitt ACC Leadership Symposium Delegate to grow as a leader and give back to the Pitt community. I hope to learn from other ACC institutions and discover new strategies I can implement at Pitt. Building connections and sharing experiences with students from diverse backgrounds will allow me to help strengthen my organizations and contribute to the growth of my communities for the future.

What do you love most about being a leader at Pitt?

What I love most about being a leader at Pitt is the opportunity to give back and leave things better than I found them. It is incredibly rewarding to know that the work I do can create a positive, lasting change for the community, whether it is through fostering a collaborative environment, advocating for student needs, or simply lifting others up. I find value in leadership when I see those I lead grow and make the impact they want to see with their values, voices, and perspectives.
