Heather Arment

Staff Clinician

Heather is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with roots grounded in social work theory. From the beginning, she meets her clients where they are currently at, and strives to assist them with the identification of personal strengths and barriers to goal attainment.  Heather particularly finds meaning in the utilization of a humanistic framework when working with clients as each person is their own best expert and it is rewarding to assist others with tapping into their strengths and skills. In her work, Heather borrows from various evidence-based theories, and strives to assist clients in finding solutions that help them live their very best lives. Some areas of clinical interest include grief and loss; disordered eating; interpersonal relationships; and depression. In her spare time, Heather loves spending time with family and friends. She also considers herself to be a book nerd, a lover of dogs (esp. her own good boy, Clank), and an avid concert goer.
