Hammed Sirleaf Jr. (he/him) joined the Fraternity and Sorority Life team in 2024 as the Associate Director, serving as the departmental lead. Hammed is responsible for comprehensive strategic planning, program development, community engagement, policy formation, and overall support of the Fraternity and Sorority Life community at the University of Pittsburgh. In conjunction with the Office of Business, Hospitality and Business Services (BHAS), Hammed also assists with the operations of the university-owned fraternity facilities (Hill Houses), and the Panhellenic Sorority Suites in Amos Hall and Bruce Hall.
Hammed completed his undergraduate work at the College of Charleston where he joined Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. He received his Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership Studies with an option in College Student Development from Oklahoma State University.
