Dr. Diana Ramirez ("Dee") earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Florida School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University. Dee completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Counseling Center at the University of Pittsburgh. Dee's clinical interests include working with diverse populations, particularly students with clinical concerns within a multicultural context. Dee's integrative therapeutic framework utilizes various interventions and techniques from CBT, DTB, ACT, multicultural, trauma, interpersonal, and person-centered modalities. Dee integrates various modalities and theories to conceptualize and create treatment plans tailored uniquely to each client. Dee has experience with the following presenting concerns: Relationship and family of origin concerns, mood, anxiety, trauma care, identity development, and self-esteem, diverse sexual orientation and gender identity care, first-generation experiences, etc. When not at work, Dee enjoys spending quality time with her furbabies (A dachshund enthusiast), fishing in the warm weather, camping, traveling, and finding new TV series to binge throughout the week.
