Dani is licensed psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania who earned their PhD in Counseling Psychology at the University of Houston. They completed their predoctoral internship at the UCC and are proud to continue serving the Pitt community. Dani has previously worked in resource, community, and counseling centers that focused serving the needs of diverse sexual orientation and gender identity communities. They specialize in gender affirming care and trauma work, along with affirming therapy for polyamory and kink concerns, religious deconstruction, or those navigating anti-fat bias. Dani grounds their therapeutic work in social justice and liberation approaches, while incorporating aspects of Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Multicultural approaches. When not at work, Dani enjoys indoor gardening, PC gaming, and serving as the guardian for two spoiled house cats.
