CPT Melia Brocious

Assistant Professor of Military Science for Delta Company

CPT Melia R. Brocious originally hails from Kane, Pennsylvania. In May 2015, she was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant within the Military Police Corps through Edinboro University of Pennsylvania’s ROTC program. CPT Brocious has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology Pre-Med with a minor in Chemistry from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s Degree of Business Administration from Webster University in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

CPT Brocious has served in the following duty positions during her career Assistant S3 in 759th MP BN, 59th MP CO Platoon Leader, 4ID Division Provost Marshal Operations Officer, MCE Provost Marshal (FWD Poland), 4ID Theater Force Protection Joint Security Officer (FWD Afghanistan), JTF Parwan DETOPS Training Officer (FWD Afghanistan) at Fort Carson, Colorado; 1st Armor Division Sustainment Brigade Provost Marshal, DES Operations Officer, and 93rd MP BN, 212th MP CO Company Commander at Fort Bliss, Texas. CPT Brocious is currently assigned as an Assistant Professor of Military Science and Officer in Charge of Delta Company at Duquesne University, part of the Three Rivers Battalion.

CPT Brocious’ military and civilian education includes: Military Police Basic Officer Leader Course (Physical Fitness Awardee), TC-AIMS II Unit Movement Course, Environmental Protection Officer Course, Special Reaction Team Course, Master Resiliency Trainer Course, Anti-Terrorism Officer Basic Course, Military Police Captains Career Course (Commandants List), Conventional Physical Security Course, Law Enforcement Senior Leader Course, Crime and Criminal Intelligence Analyst Course, and Company CDR/1SG Pre-Command Course, and Common Faculty Development-Instructor Course.
