Callan Mulhern

she/her/hers
Care Advocate

Callan is a licensed social worker with a background working with youth (especially adolescents) in areas such as child welfare, suicide research and in the k-12 school system. She earned her B.A. from Duquesne University with a minor in Sociology. Callan then completed her Master of Social Work degree (direct practice) from Pitt. Callan first became passionate about trauma focused care when engaging in restorative justice practices in the PPS system and wanted to bring that knowledge basis to a higher education setting. Callan hopes to continue to advocate and support students who have experienced identity-based harassment, discrimination, and misconduct with navigating systems within the University.
