Student well-being is a shared responsibility – one that requires each member of the Pitt community to equip themselves with knowledge and skills to effectively support our diverse student body. The University Counseling Center has designed a training program focused on providing faculty, staff and students at Pitt with more extensive knowledge and skills to be champions of mental health on campus.
Participants will have an opportunity to:
• Learn ways to increase student well-being and promote human flourishing
• Learn how to support students/peers experiencing mental health concerns
• Build relationships with other mental health champions across campus
