Thank you for your interest in the Hesselbein Global Academy for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement. After careful consideration, the Academy will take a hiatus during the summer of 2025. This pause will allow staff and volunteers to explore new and innovative opportunities for leadership programming inspired by the life and teachings of the late Frances Hesselbein.
In the meantime, we encourage University of Pittsburgh students to explore other leadership development opportunities offered by our office, which can be found by clicking on the links in the gray box on this page. Leadership Development is in the process of developing more opportunities for students. If you have ideas, suggestions, or questions, please contact us at leadership@pitt.edu.

The Hesselbein Global Academy is a five-day learning experience that will encompass a wide variety of relationship building, community service and leadership training components all in the spirit of Frances Hesselbein.
